Make your own clay bird at April’s Art Share.
Join us April 18, 2015 from 12 – 4 pm
Heide will show you how to make a small bird sculpture with the “Pinch Pot” technique for hand building clay. This ancient art form has been used by many world cultures to create a wide variety of objects. Come build your unique little bird.. If you’d like, Heide will fire your bird to make it into a finished piece (to be picked up at a later date).
Admission is free. Reservations are not necessary. There is a $5 materials fee to have your bird fired. All materials will be provided. Clay is messy, so wear an old washable shirt!

Heidi is one of the Gallery 200 founders. In addition to working with clay, she paints, knits, and works with paper. Heidi was an art teacher for many years, and is excited to teach again at this clay birds workshop.
