Opening Reception July 3, 6-9 PM
Summer revolves around food and the outdoors. Kathy Steere shows us the many facets of both in her show “Feathers and Foods.” She uses assorted media to represent the theme – acrylic paint, water-soluble crayons and more. Kathy’s style is realistic to whimsical, with a little practical thrown in..
In a quote from the Daily Herald, Kathy says “she prefers variety, that she would rather create art as she sees it than be tied to one medium as a specialty.” She goes on to say that “art should be fun – fun to make, fun to look at, fun to have around!” Kathy is an active member of the Gallery, and has done multiple shows, and offered ArtShare afternoons.
You are invited to Gallery 200, for light refreshments and F&F art, during the opening reception Friday, July 3, 6-9 pm.
Feathers and Foods will be on display at Gallery 200 for the entire month of July.
